There can be hope for A broken Marriage

This post is part of the Choosing Him Blog Tour which I am delighted to be a part of along with nearly one hundred other inspiring Christian bloggers. To learn more and join us, CLICK HERE!

Juana Mikels tells her story of how God saved her marriage along with practical teaching on faith and marriage written out of her own failure, pointing us all to Jesus Christ who has the power to change lives and marriages. You can get a copy here HERE.  or on Kindle HERE.

In the book Choosing Him All Over Again Juana Mikels tells her story of a marriage on the brink of divorce and how God restored it and brought healing when healing seemed impossible. At one point Juana’s mother even tells her over the phone, “He doesn’t Love you, Don’t you See? Get a Divorce!” (Choosing Him All Over Again p. 215)

Yet Juana’s story doesn’t end there. God had bigger plans for her marriage, and for her life. I was really impressed with this book, Mrs Mikels tells her story clearly, and transparently. She hides nothing from her reader, even clearly detailing her hurtful words to her husband the day she walked out on her marriage. This book reminds us all that NO life is beyond redemption. God has a plan that is bigger that we can ever know.

Marriage is difficult. And it is easy to feel discouraged and want to walk away because things are difficult and not what we envisioned for our lives. God has something more for us, just like he did for Juana. God desires that we all come and submit our lives to Him. Give to him our broken lives, and our broken marriages and trust them to Jesus. The ‘author and perfecter of our faith,’

If you are looking for a book to read, this is an encouraging book of hope, redemption, and the Love that only Christ can teach us to have for our spouses.
