Good Morning everyone. Did you survive Thanksgiving? How did your fitness goals fit in with your holiday? Did you totally blow it all or did you hang on and keep going towards your goal?
I have not been feeling well over the past week. Thanksgiving day turned out different than I expected it would. I ended up cooking a lunch for us here at home, nothing extravagant, but a nice lunch. Daniel took the older three kids over to my In-laws while I stayed home and rested with the younger two. I managed to prepare dinner for me and my two little bits, and then I lay on the couch the rest of the day while my whole body throbbed.
I wish I could say that I was at least careful on how I ate over the past week. I can’t really say that though. I have had way too much wheat. I do not tolerate eating bread. I find it causes terrible swelling, and painful bloating when I eat bread of any sort. And I have been eating a good bit of bread over the past week simply because it is easy and I have not had much energy to prepare something better.
So I will look forward to the next week and try again.
As I look towards the future that is ahead of me I can not allow my set backs and health struggle to discourage me to the point of stopping. I need to keep running/ walking/ or even crawling towards my goal.
